I've sort of felt like that since I began blogging again, with this new blog. My previous experiences as a blogger were pre-children. I vaguely remember those days, being able to type away and blog away without care for hours at a time, totally immersed in my work. Not anymore.
Now it's a real feat if I can type the title of a post without having to stop midway to be a hero to some small child-sized crisis.
I love me some organization. Especially if said organization comes in the form of a printable! Yes! I needed a Blog Planner!
I spent some time last night perusing the blog planning pages provided so helpfully at Homeschool Blogging. I decided that the best fit for me were a combination of 2 different planner designs.
For my weekly blog planning, I decided to use the one Amanda from Two Blue Pillars made. It's got room for up to 10 weekly post ideas, a prep list, loose ends to finish, and a-week-at-a-glance.
I also wanted a page to do monthly planning, to see my month in full view. Infarrantly Creative has a lovely blog planner that includes a monthly view and a weekly view. I wanted a few more post options for my weekly view, so I opted for the above one, but I definately wanted a monthly view, so I've used this one. She has made both the blue background version and the plain black and white version available as printables.
For more long term yearly planning, I liked Amanda's other planner from Two Blue Pillars, her yearly one. This one helps to keep the bigger picture in my mind... my mission for my blog, and where I see it going.
This is so very much better, and I am actually breathing clearer now, being more organized. Seriously. Oh, hang onto your seats, chickies, I am going to WOW you with my newfound sense of ... well, of knowing what I'm doing!
